The Scream TV franchise has been a source of endless debate for a long time now, with fans clamoring for the series to return to its classic form.
The show’s recent reboot was greeted with critical acclaim and a slew of new shows have sprung up around the franchise in the last year, but now that Scream TV is in its fifth season, some fans are saying they’re ready to see the franchise move forward again.
“We’re excited about the possibility of doing more Scream TV,” executive producer/showrunner Robert Greenblatt told The Verge.
“The franchise has done a fantastic job of making that happen.
But now that the franchise is five seasons old, we need to make sure that Scream is as fresh as it can be.
If we don’t, the franchise will not have the capacity to continue.
I think we have that capability now.”
The new series, which debuted earlier this year, will introduce new villains like The Ghost, who was voiced by Will Arnett and is known for his character’s bizarre, dark, and terrifying appearance.
It will also see new characters like The Nightmare, who is known as The Bride of the Night and is a powerful and charismatic monster who will take on the shape of a woman if given the chance.
The Nightmare is voiced by the late and beloved John Cusack.
“It’s hard to find something that is so much more terrifying than The Nightmare,” Greenblatts said.
“It’s a very dark and dark story,” he continued.
“And there’s a lot of tension between the two.
So, as you know, the main villain of the series is The Nightmare.
It’s an incredibly dangerous, very dark character.
The question is, is she really able to control her power?
And I think that’s the most interesting question that we will address.”
Greenblatt also noted that the series will have a new team of writers, actors, and directors, as well as a new look for the characters and the story, all of which are new to the franchise.
“We’ve got a lot to prove,” he said.
“I think that we’ve already made a lot.
I’m not sure if we can do that again.”
