When it comes to the power of a series, the Power 5 are certainly at the top of that list.
The five-member quartet of writers and producers (David Karp, Peter Travers, Jeff Parker, Scott Gimple and Tom Kratz) behind the series are not only one of the most successful scripted series in recent memory, but also the only ones to have had more than one season.
The Power 5 is now in its fifth season and the show has been renewed for a sixth.
That means a second season is on the way, as well as a potential ninth season or a 10th season.
And if all goes according to plan, the fifth season of Power 5 will have the highest ratings for a scripted series ever.
But that’s not the only reason for optimism.
“We were all looking forward to doing this,” said Parker.
“The show had a great creative team behind it and the network had a fantastic showrunner.
It was an exciting time.”
And despite all the success the series has had, there are still some lingering concerns.
“There are a lot of things that are just still in our minds that we want to address,” Parker said.
“Like we’ve never been able to fully explain to our fans why they’re on the show.
But the more we can do that, the more it’s going to make it more fun and more interesting to watch.”
And what about the series finale?
The series finale was just one of those questions.
It is, however, the only one that was left unanswered.
That’s because the series is so much fun, and that means it is important to be able to tease the finale as it happens.
“I think it’s important to tell a story as it’s happening and not just keep everything in the dark, but to give a sense of how it’s shaping up,” Parker added.
“What’s going on in the world is going to shape the series and how it goes forward.
I think it would be fun to see how the world reacts to the ending.”
And while the show is set up for a very satisfying ending, there is one thing that is going on right now that is keeping Parker and the Power Five from seeing their very own Power 5.
The show has its own, unique twist.
“Our world has a very specific set of rules,” Parker explained.
“And they’re the rules of our world and that’s where we go to the writers’ room and talk about what the story is about and what we want for the next season.
There’s an idea of a different world, and it’s like, well, there’s no way that’s going in that world.”
The show’s creators and writers, however did not take that premise lightly.
“It’s one of our favorite things to do, because we always want to surprise ourselves,” said Travers.
“That’s why we did the finale.
We did that because we thought that would be one of my favorite things.
It’s so fun to do.
And we always do it with a twist.”
And it seems like the Power series has been doing just that.
The finale of Power is going into its sixth season, and the series will be back for its ninth season.
“This is a show about the power that you have,” said Karp.
“You’re the only person who can save the world, but you don’t have to be a hero.
It doesn’t matter how strong or how strong the villain is.
You can save yourself and everybody else.
And that’s how we ended up with a very, very dark ending.”
