Italy has been named the best country to watch a season of the RTE series “The Fall”, the first of a planned series of eight new dramas, which will be directed by Steven Spielberg.
The series is set to premiere on RTE in the spring of 2021.
“The fall” is the seventh season of “The Simpsons”, which was created by Matt Groening and produced by the Simpsons writers.
RTE and Groening have worked together on many TV series including “Sesame Street”, “The Mary Tyler Moore Show”, “Beverly Hills 90210”, “Rise and Shine”, “Shark Tank” and “The Office”.
“The show is going to be a big deal,” said Mark O’Sullivan, chief executive of RTE.
“I know they have a lot of fans around the world and we are thrilled to have them on board.”

“RTE has always been at the forefront of innovative storytelling and bringing innovative content to viewers around the globe.”
“Fall” will follow the lives of the Simpson family and their family of friends as they struggle to make it through the season and the year ahead.
The show will also follow Lisa and Homer’s relationship as they deal with the loss of their beloved dog, Marge, and their new child, Maggie.
