AMC’s AMC TV series Scorpion was renewed for two more seasons for a total of eight episodes.
The new series stars David Boreanaz, Gina Torres, David Buhrer, and Jessica McKenna, and is executive produced by David Slade, Peter Berg, and Marc Guggenheim.
AMC also announced the renewal for a second season of the upcoming Starz drama series American Gods, which stars Kevin Spacey, Emily Browning, Kevin Bacon, and Mandy Patinkin.
The renewal also comes as Starz announced the return of the drama series Fargo and the first two seasons of American Gods.
The network also renewed for a third season of The Americans, which is co-produced by FX, AMC, and Anonymous Content.
The second season premieres on Oct. 19.
The series is the first to be developed by the studio’s digital production unit, and it is the third to air on AMC after the recent pickups of American Horror Story and The Walking Dead.
AMC is also making a move into scripted TV, announcing that it has ordered the scripted drama series, The Knick, from NBCUniversal.
